The students interest in education were increased to enthusiasm as they spelled words thrown to them by the judges. These students were drawn from two most innovative schools in Kumasi, Abraz Educational Complex; Karima Education Complex.
The two school's secured seventy-five points each at the end of section one, round one 1. At the end of section one, round 2, Abraz secured seventy-eight points leaving Karima with sixty-six points? Karima slightly hutted Abraz to secured seventy points at the end of section one, round 3. While leaving Abraz School, with quite manageable sixty-nine points.
At the end of section 1, round 3, Abraz secured two hundred and twenty-two points (222), leaving Karima with one hundred and eighty-three points (183)
The giants of Abraz stood on their feet as they sang their school’s Anthem to celebrate their victory at the end of section one which the Basic School Class two student’s part-took in.
At the end of round 1, section 2 Karima holds one hundred and seven points against Abraz with ninety-nine points. Both schools recorded low marks at the end of round 2, section 2, where Karima scored 43 points against Abraz with 42 points. Abraz International School was reduced to tears as the future leaders of Karima secured one hundred and ninety-six points against Abraz with one hundred and eighty-three points.
At the end of round 3, section 2, Karima raised to victory with two hundred and eleven points (211) against Abraz with one hundred and ninety-six points (196). This brings the two school's to competing for balance
Speaking at the sidelines of the Spelling Bee competition, the headmaster, Karima Educational Complex, Mr. Abdul Aziz made known the core reason behind the organization of the competition is to prepare the kids externally which in the long run would boost their confidence. He also urged school heads to collaborate with each other to streamline a common partnership goal.
